Software release V4.1 contains the following new features and changes:
RATA
Breaking Change:
- Imaging Devices: A breaking change requires the user to update their software to continue using the application successfully. Devices must be running version 3.20 or later to sync with the cloud application. The update to version 4.1 will automatically download if the device is on an earlier version.
Web Proxy Configuration:
- Users can now configure web proxy settings via the network settings page by selecting the gear icon. A Web Proxy acts as a middleman that lets your device use websites while hiding your online identity.
Dashboard Enhancements:
- Account statistics are now displayed on the portal dashboard.
Updated User Guides:
- Troubleshooting Guide: Updated details on pipette overfilling/underfilling issues.
- Equine Preparation Process: Updated to reflect the revised method.
Platform Performance Changes:
- On-Demand Loading: Rata Cloud portal components will now load on demand to reduce application load times.
Device Identification and Filtering:
- Imaging units will now be identified by specific capture types and linked products.
- Products on imaging units will be filtered based on the device's capabilities.
Laboratory User Dashboard Enhancements:
- Lab stats are now displayed on the portal dashboard.

RataPlan Event Message Formatting:
- Event messages can now be customised with different text formats.
